Integrating Google Calendar with Blitzit
Blitzit integrates directly with Google Calendar, allowing you to turn scheduled events — like meetings or calls — into actionable tasks inside your daily Blitzit workflow.

Setting Up the Integration
Open Blitzit and click the Apps icon in the top-right corner.
Select Google Calendar by clicking +Connect.
Sign in with the Google account you want to connect and allow access.
Once connected, click Link a list, choose the Blitzit list you’d like your calendar to sync with, and then click Link now.
You’ll see a confirmation message once your account is successfully connected.
Important: Each list can have only one Google Calendar account linked at a time.

Adjusting Your Integration Settings
Click the Google Calendar icon at the top of your Blitzit list.
You’ll see two tabs: Calendars and Settings.
Open Settings to customize how Blitzit imports your events.
Settings options
Date Range — choose how far ahead Blitzit imports events:
Current week
Until end of next week
Until end of 3rd week
The preview beside each option shows the exact dates that will be covered.
Events Type — decide which events to bring into Blitzit:
All Events
Accepted Events only — ideal if you’re invited to many optional meetings and want to focus only on confirmed ones.
Sync Delete — control how deletions behave:
When enabled, deleting a task in Blitzit also deletes the linked event in Google Calendar.
Deleting an event in Google Calendar only unlinks it from Blitzit — it doesn’t remove the Blitzit task.
This ensures your task notes and tracked progress remain safe inside Blitzit.
Once your settings are configured, you’re ready to select calendars to sync.

Selecting Calendars to Sync
Switch to the Calendars tab.
You’ll see a list of all calendars associated with your Google account — including work calendars, shared calendars, and holidays.
Check the calendars you’d like to sync.
Click Save Updated Calendars and Sync.
All upcoming events within the selected date range will now appear in your Blitzit list as tasks. They’ll be automatically organized into the Backlog, This Week, or Today columns based on their scheduled dates.

How Syncing Works
The integration currently works one way — from Google Calendar to Blitzit. Changes in Google Calendar — such as updated times or titles — will appear in Blitzit automatically.
Two-way syncing (creating events from Blitzit to Google Calendar) is planned for a future update.
Event Details in Blitzit
Each event imported from Google Calendar includes:
The event title, date, and time
Notes (descriptions)
Any Google Meet links included in the original calendar event will appear as notes.
When you start Blitz Mode, meeting links open automatically — so you can join calls immediately.
Troubleshooting
If your events don’t appear or aren’t updating:
Open the Google Calendar pop-over in your Blitzit list.
Click Refresh, then Sync Google Calendar Events to update manually.
Check that your calendar selection and date range in Settings are correct.
