It's the right balance of simple yet powerful. I can make, order and tag tasks then when I need to focus, the "Blitz" mode hides all distractions so I can get work done. When using it for work I love checking the reports section to see where I'm spending my time. I also like that there's an active community. You can join discord and post bugs/requests, read weekly newsletters, listen to curated focus playlists and join focus sessions led by the Blitzit team.

This app has kept me motivated and focused on tasks. I use Blitzit for personal projects. I suffer from a blood clotting disorder and have focus complications from this disorder but this app has helped me retain info (tasks) that needs to be completed. So I break down tasks into very small chunks to simplify complicated tasks. Plus it builds my confidence when I complete a big task. I just finished my free trial and have subscribed for the paid version. I am loving Blitzit and am really looking forward to what the app brings in the future. So far this is what I can tell you about my experience. I have ADHD and I always try different things, Blitzit has a few features that makes the app just work for me. Timer countdown: This helps with time blindness. If you think a task should take you 2 hours and you're not even near finishing it, you can get a real sense of how much you're achieving in that time and how focused you are. Seeing the timer go down and approach to the dude time is really helpful to stay in task. Locked floating timer: The fact that the timer doesn't leave your screen is a MASSIVE GAME CHANGER for me. I've used other times before but I can easily ignore them. Not this one. In the past the only timers that worked for me were the ones with white noise that would stop every time the focus time stops. So the constant sound helped me with focus. This one I feel it helps even more. Dopamine boosts: The little gifs celebrating you finish a task on time, or letting you know you missed the goal are really helpful for my adhd brain. I'm starting to give myself more realistic time to finish each task as I get too many gifs telling me I should do better next time haha. Simplicity: Too many tools are overwhelming and distracting. Blitzit gives crucial tools to stay focus without the overwhelming super powerful features of for example Asana, which I use but I've used HOURS and hours of my life designing systems for it. My favourite feature so far is that the timer lights app and makes a sound every 10 minutes. this is massive help with my time blindness and it often brings me back to focus if I was distracted. I literally would pay the subscription just for this. Google calendar sync: something amazing that some might not know, is that you can sync asana with google calendar, which means that if Blitzit can sync with google calendar, It can also be linked with your asana. I used this, and I also use Weel, another ADHD tool that can be synced with google. All combined are giving me a great structure to stay focused and organised. Weel has a great feature for my Apple Watch, and I love Blitzit on my desktop. I don't start any work day on my computer without it now. Thank you so much!

BlitzIt does a small amount really well.It doesn't overwhelm you with unnecessary features or lots of menus it just lets you get tasks done.At times it can feel a bit too lightweight, but that's also its strength.The company has a newsletter, discord community, Spotify playlists and live focus sessions. They're not just shipping a product, they're really trying to help people be their best productive selves.

I have tried so many different to do list and time trackers, but normally they’re separate from each other or so over complicated, and more often than not I would forget to either start the time tracker or stop it.That’s the beauty of Blitzit. When I start a to do task, the timer starts, and when I tick the task to complete it - which I always do because I need the dopamine hit - it stops the timer.Perfect.And then the insights I get into what I’ve spent my time on and when I’m most productive are also really useful.

Hello! im Jose! my ADHD doesn't let me do task the right way lol. ive been using motion for about a year now, but i saw this the other day and immediately downloaded it. I just signed up for lifetime, ive been using it every single day and the focus mode timer, and the GIFS is what sold it for me, so simple, but so damn effective for my brain lol.
